Rooms

The rooms are simple. The shared spaces do a lot of the living.

The rooms are not trying to be hotel rooms. They are places to sleep well, dry your layers, read for a while, and come back to the table when the house starts smelling like dinner.

Each room is part of the same old worker's dormitory, slowly becoming softer, warmer, and more alive. The photos here are working placeholders from the rooms and shared spaces as they are now.

Shared by everyone

The room is only part of the stay.

The lodge opens into shared living, dining, kitchen, drying, and outside spaces. The private rooms are for rest. The rest of the place is where the day gets lighter.
