Summer at the Lodge is quieter than winter, but not less. The grass comes up. Dragonflies return. The place loosens into a slower rhythm: longer days, evenings that stretch, time that stops justifying itself.

This is not a season of momentum. It's a season of being here.

Analog Weeks and Summer Gatherings

Summer 2026 will have 2 Analog Weeks. We are opening the doors to the lodge for the very first time, and we wanted to do it with these two weeks

Each week: live together, eat together, move together, be outside. No performing. No producing. The season and the people shape it.

Happenings at the Lodge, Summer 2026

Alongside the Analog Weeks, summer at the lodge also includes Wakaranai Labs: a space for founders and builders to slow down, ask better questions, and spend real time together.

Wakaranai also partners with Raven Outdoors for fully catered fly fishing trips on Central Hokkaido's wild rivers: three to five days, everything handled, for people who want to be somewhere quiet with a line in the water. Available throughout the summer season.
