Today started like any other good day, with the sun shining through the window.
It was fire inspection day, so I spent the morning tidying up, and doing all the final prechecks. Then I had some time to slather on another layer on to the sink. While I was doing this, Akira kept sanding some of the poles out front.
After lunch was the inspection, and I think it went well. The old guy from the fire equipment company, who I have had the pleasure of dealing with 4 different times now, brought me a cute little snack/gift.
I didn't have anyone to interpret this time, so between the old man, and the two firemen from the local firedept, there was absolutely zero english spoken. I never got an okay everything daijobu, but I also didn't get a theres a problem either. So I think we passed, but I guess I will find out in a day or two. It strangely sapped me of a lot of energy, and I kinda cruised through the rest of the day.
Akira started working on his next lampshade, and it is going to be sick.
We had a good dinner, and then steady chilling.
