Today started, as a handful of days have started lately. Agetatsu came by early, the plan had roughly been to caulk the wall outside, that he had been working above, so as to fix all the leaks, but today was rainy, so I assumed we would push to tomorrow, but he still came thru this morning. He brought a bunch of asparamaki, and we had a really delicious breakfast. Ryota rolled up after, with his childhood friend Rei. He had been talking about her lately, and wanted to introduce her to Denise. They hit it off super well, and today was on its way.
She started making art, then we were all making art. Then I took a break to go finish plastering the sink, the quickset layer of it. Denise came down to help me out, and we got that knocked out. We had a bunch of quick set let over tho, so we hollered at Ryota, since we had been taking about mosaic-ing the front step, since some of the original tile had chipped off. We got to work, and broke some colorful tile we had and started piecing it together. It turned out looking super sick.
I then made a banger meal, a steamed pork belly, with a really good gochujang sauce.
It was a funny day, with a weird flow, but productive, with a new friend, nice art, and an awesome meal. Pretty good for a rainy saturday. Tomorrow we will try to caulk if the weather is nice, and start applying the shaping layers to the sink. I think Ryota is coming back over too, so we will get him involved in the sink shaping, and see what he can doo.
