gyoza party wit da homies

installing a lamp shade at the lodge

Another very nice day with a very nice end.

We crushed on the sink until we ran out of wood, which happened sooner than we hoped, but still we got good progress. We got all the walls patched, so we should be able to get them sanded and primed tomorrow while we plan a town day to get more wood.

We had Akira and our homie Jimmy over for gyoza party tonight, and akira cheffed up some primo gyoza, one traditional, one shrimp and cheese. Jimmy made a killer ginger, garlic, pepper oil for dipping. Slapped.

After dinner we played Bonanaza, and got in it. Such a good game because everyone has fun, and can work together. Its not a cut throat one, and even tho the cards are in german, anyone from anywhere can pick it up pretty quick.

And then we got into lamp making again, and we went down that rabbit hole. It is a super satisfying form of art because most art I make, its for my personal enjoyment, and the enjoyment I get while doing it, but with designing lamp shades, and light defusers, you are creating something everyone can enjoy. On top of that, it is a process that is intuitive to itterate on, and each time I make a lamp, I feel like I know much more about how.

My mind is tired, but all you need is good people, good food, good music, and good art, and everything is allll g.

have a great day n wakaranai
