I will give yall a bit longer of one today.
It was a productive day in Wakaranai land. We started with a pretty chill morning, we tried to go into the local dentist, to say hey and try to get a future appointment. It is about time to get the ol teeth cleaned again, but alas, they were closed when they were supposed to be open. Thats a for sure shoganai.
Then we tried to change our tires, from our winters to summers, since it definitely feels like summer now. But alas, the lug nuts on the wheels are smaller than the size of my socket, so that was good to know before we had a flat somewhere and couldn't change our tires. We will go to the local gas station tomorrow to try and borrow the right size.
After this, Akira came over and we got to work. It was hanging more plywood wall panels, and enlarging the opening under the stairs to be able to fit our slightly oversized refridgerator in, then it was going full on prekkui mode. Akira and I were crushing, and we got a couple more buckets worth up on the walls. We had a good rhythem to it and thinks went smoothly.
He will be back over tomorrow, and I think we will be able to get a huge chunk of stuff done. We also need to organize some renovation garbage, for a pick up that is happening on saturday.
This evening we smashed chicken adobo, then went to our local pottery hour, and kept working on the bowls we started last week. I had a nice idea for mine, and it was fine working on that. I am already stoking for next week, and the next bowl.
All in all, a really pleasent day, and I am stoked for tomorrow.
