Analog Weeks at Wakaranai Lodge
During this time, we ask guests to leave their phones behind. Without the constant noise of the digital world, this becomes a space to slow down, listen inward, and rediscover your own rhythm and intuition.
The program consists of two sessions with a short break in between (guests are not hosted at the lodge during that middle week). The second session is a natural continuation of the first, but both can also be experienced independently.
Each week is guided by us together with inspiring teachers. Rather than following a strict schedule, we create a flexible framework that allows each participant to move at their own pace and according to their own needs.
Both retreats are intentionally small, with only 8 guests, allowing space for individuality, meaningful exchange, and shared experience.
Life, laughter, movement, food, creativity, and exploration.
The Full Arc
Some people come for one week. Others stay for three.
Session I and Session II run back to back, with one week between them. Guests are not staying at the lodge during that middle week; it’s yours to shape—unplanned, unguided, open.
A slow train north. A coastal town. An onsen nobody's heard of. Long meals. Early mornings. The kind of time that doesn't justify itself.
The body week softens you. The wandering week lets it settle. The making week goes deeper because of both.
This is the full Wakaranai arc.
Embodiment. Wandering. Creation.
